Royal Mint launches 50p Pride Coin

The Royal Mint will launch new 50p coin to mark the 50th anniversary of Pride.
It’s the first time the UK’s LGBT+ community has been recognised on an official coin.
Artist and activist Dominique Holmes designed the coin which includes Pride’s progression flag, is inscribed with the movement’s values of protest, visibility, unity, and equality in rainbows.
A donation will be made to London LGBT Community Pride as part of the launch.
