TUI is hiring professional slackers to go on ‘Fakeation’

A holiday company is hiring ‘Professional Slackers’… to sit around and do absolutely nothing.
Travel giant TUI is taking applications for four ‘Fakeation Specialist’ positions.
The job description is simple. You’ll be sitting in a beach chair, feet in the sand. You can take naps, read books, listen to music or even meditate – but you’re not required to do anything productive.
Obviously there’s a catch.
You’ll be sitting a glass box in the middle of Stockholm Central Station as part of a marketing campaign.
The box has been fitted out with sand, deckchairs and an artificial temperature of 82°F.
The job description states ‘The ideal applicant takes great pride in doing as little as possible at any cost and possesses an enviable capability of daydreaming of sunnier days. Having no interest whatsoever in interacting with others and no ability at all to multitask is beneficial but not a requirement.’
The company insist that it’s a real job, paid by the hour, with varying shifts. The position will be temporary, lasting through to 4th February.
