Suzie Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe impersonator

A rainy wednesday (4 July) in London was brightened up by television channel HISTORY, when they used “Marilyn Monroe” (aka Suzie Kennedy) to promote their forthcoming season of American shows.

Suzie took to the streets of London to visit key media contacts with the team from Premier PR and in-house took along a press pack hidden in a mini fridge of goodies.

The fridge was decorated with stickers for the shows in a bid to ensure the message continued to be displayed in the offices of the media during the summer.

Many of those who received the visit tweeted and facebooked and Daily Mail online carried a photo of Marilyn and a credit for HISTORY – a job well done!

Joanna Mitchell is the Consumer PR Manager at HISTORY/Military | A+E Networks UK (joint venture with BSkyB) and was behind the campaign.
