Jude Bellingham strips off for Calvin Klein’s latest campaign

Jude Bellingham is the latest star to strip down for Calvin Klein, fronting a new underwear campaign shot by photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch.

Revealed on 2 November, the campaign features the footballer in the brand’s Icon Cotton Stretch underwear. Photographed in Madrid last summer, the shoot centres on “the icon underneath”, an idea linking confidence with feeling comfortable in yourself.

“I really enjoyed working on this campaign,” Bellingham said. “I liked the idea of ‘the icon underneath’ – that confidence starts with feeling comfortable in yourself.”

The 23-year-old joins a line-up of Calvin Klein underwear stars that includes Michael B. Jordan, Justin Bieber, Jeremy Allen White and Bad Bunny, bringing his football following into the brand’s celebrity-led advertising.

Before unveiling the campaign, Calvin Klein teased Bellingham’s arrival with a billboard in New York’s SoHo that cropped out his face. An Instagram post on 27 October carried the caption: “The next icon. Coming soon.” Fans quickly recognised the footballer.

The brand continues to turn famous faces, and bodies, into reasons to talk about underwear.
