The Robin Cancer Trust puts testicular cancer centre stage with ballsy new MIDI controller

Meet the newest musical oddity, MidiBalls… a pair of testicle-shaped MIDI controllers.

German agency David+Martin, in collaboration with The Robin Cancer Trust, is putting testicular cancer awareness centre stage with this head-turning campaign, Balls in Concert.

With testicular cancer being the leading cancer in young men, early detection is crucial. Yet, few men stick to regular self-checks. MidiBalls aim to change that narrative through humour and a pinch (or squeeze) of awkwardness.

DJs can now squeeze to trigger sound effects like pitch bends and vibrato with these handy, scrotum-shaped controllers. Musician Stephen Paul Taylor helms the campaign’s anthem, “Check Your Balls,” using MidiBalls to perform and ignite the conversation across Germany starting late April.

Ballsy move!
