Best employee benefit EVER: Ikea 3-D printed meatballs

In a new recruitment drive, IKEA is serving up 3-D printed meatless meatballs to potential new recruits in Europe.

The campaign features a  “Let’s meet for a job interview over some 3D-printed meatballs” video, encouraging people to apply technology related roles with IKEA. The Swedish furniture giant is looking for people with “imagination who want to make life at home better”, attributes which are reflected in their smart 3-D printed meatballs.

IKEA aims to recruit 150 new tech staff members with this campaign. Pascal Pauwels, Chief Information Officer at Inter IKEA Group describes the 3D printed meatballs as a reflection of IKEAs commitment to make “data and technology to become more affordable, accessible, and sustainable in an omnichannel environment.”
