Harder, Better, Faster, Builder: LEGO announces Daft Punk set

By on Thursday, October 22, 2026

LEGO has announced a partnership with Daft Punk, starting with a fan-designed set inspired by the electronic duo’s Alive 2007 tour and its distinctive pyramid stage.

The concept, submitted by creator Robotrock through LEGO Ideas, features the helmeted musicians behind their towering concert setup. It has now been approved for development, with LEGO promising “more to come in 2027”. A release date has not been announced.

The set is the first step in a broader collaboration. LEGO says the partnership will bring Daft Punk into its world through “a mashup of surprising events and content that crosses music, culture and creative spaces”.

For fans, it ends a lengthy wait. The submission had been held for further consideration since October 2025 while LEGO assessed whether it could become an official product.

For LEGO, the appeal extends beyond another collectible. Daft Punk’s helmets, stage design and visual identity offer plenty to build a partnership around, with a ready-made audience of music fans.

Following its recent giant flower wave in Shanghai, the collaboration gives LEGO another way to turn a familiar cultural passion into something people can build.
