Mary Poppins descends on the London Eye to celebrate sequel’s cinematic release

To celebrate the cinematic release of Mary Poppins Returns, the long awaited sequel to the 1964 Disney Classic, a stunt double dressed as the iconic nanny was seen atop the London Eye ahead of the premiere last night.

Recreating the famous scene where Poppins’ descends on the Bank’s house, the double was dressed in Mary’s traditional costume complete with her magic umbrella and handbag.

Mary Poppins Returns lands in cinemas nationwide on 21^st December 2018.
