Marks & Spencer is to become Markle & Sparkle for one weekend to celebrate the royal wedding.
The Windsor branch of M&S is a focus of the re-brand, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to pass the store following their nuptials at St George’s Chapel on Saturday.
The store is featuring a sparkly Markle & Sparkle fascia, with windows decked out in the colours of the Union flag.
M&S stores in Kensington & Chelsea, Reading, Maidenhead, Camberley, Bracknell, Newbury, Leamington Spa, Tunbridge Wells, Swindon, Kingston upon Thames, Lewisham, Llandudno and Sutton Coldfield will also feature specially designed Markle & Sparkle windows and decor.
We are excited to announce a royal re-brand in honour of the wedding of HRH Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle. In celebration of Britain’s most anticipated wedding of the year for the next three days, we become Markle and Sparkle. ✨ pic.twitter.com/1HzfJ60BCN

Sharry Cramond, marketing director of food and hospitality at M&S told The Sun : “As a quintessentially British brand we had to do something special to mark the royal wedding, and what better way to welcome Meghan to the family than to ‘marry’ both our names together for the weekend.
This window display by Smeg in London’s St James is also fabulous.
I have no time for royal wedding marketing, but I will make an exception for this fine piece of work. pic.twitter.com/pCj5Qp2sfj

The M&S takeover is ‘almost’ as good as that time Burger King Tottenham Court Road got royal name change to honour Queen’s 90th birthday.
