Schweppes tackles Brazil’s club gropers with hi-tec dress

By on Tuesday, May 15, 2018

To highlight the unwanted advances that women receive on a day to day basis, Schweppes Brazil ran an eye-opening social experiment in Sao Paulo – where 86% of women say they have been sexually harassed in nightclubs.

The solution: A dress fitted with sensors that record every time the wearer is touched.

In one evening the three women were touched without consent more than 40 times per hour – the data being sent to a control-unit via Wi-Fi.
