Sephora adds a touch of Tabasco to its latest lip gloss launch

Sephora is bringing a kick to its winter range with a limited-edition lip gloss inspired by Tabasco.

The collaboration reimagines the popular Outrageous Plump gloss with a spicy twist, combining capsaicin, the active ingredient in chili peppers, with its original volumising formula.

The concept is rooted in beauty science. Chili extracts have long been used for their plumping effect.

Here, Sephora, facilitated by IMG Licensing, leans into the sensation, offering a tingling feel that nods to Tabasco’s culinary heat.

The collection features four shades, each referencing a different spice level. Jalapeño is a sheer green, Sriracha brings a warm brown and Extreme Heat delivers a bold black with subtle shimmer.

Each gloss comes in a silicone sleeve that mimics a Tabasco bottle, complete with a keyring and pepper charm, adding a light-hearted touch to the packaging.
