Online tracking gets sinister in Apple’s surreal new ad
Apple has released Clingers, a new global privacy campaign from TBWA\Media Arts Lab that turns invisible online tracking into a stalking fever dream
Directed by SMUGGLER’s Ivan Zacharias, the hero film personifies web trackers as eerie, chrome-clad figures that physically attach themselves to people as they browse, clinging to non-Apple users through increasingly uncomfortable scenarios until Safari steps in to block them.
It frames privacy as a fundamental right and positions Safari as a browser built to keep cross-site trackers at bay while websites keep working normally.

Clingers runs globally from 3 June 2026 across broadcast, OOH, digital, social, cinema, YouTube and Apple.com.
