Tesco drops logo from bags

Tesco are making a change in stores nationwide starting today.
The Tesco logo is being (temporarily) removed on Bags for Life, to be replaced by different 5-letter words including “Treat”, “Party” and “Share”
The bags will also feature in OOH to celebrate the emotional role Tesco food has on the lives of the nation.
The campaign by BBH ‘It’s not a little thing. It’s everything’ taps into the significance of food in our daily lives.
The new TV ad, which retires the iconic Food Love Stories campaign that previously ran for 7 years, uses a series of vignettes to convey how food can play a role in every life moment, whether that’s a way of saying thanks, an opportunity to show you’re sorry, or simply a reason to get everyone together to party.
Murray Bisschop, UK Marketing Director of Tesco said: “When it comes to food, every detail matters to us, because we know the role it plays in our customers’ lives. Our new campaign captures this. We believe a great dish starts with quality ingredients, whether that’s a tender steak, crisp greens or juicy corn on the cob. For us, it’s not a little thing, it’s everything.”
