Paris Hilton’s partnership with Klarna

Klarna, the payment and shopping service, has partnered up with Paris Hilton to deliver a global campaign.
Tanu Muino, a well-known director, who has worked with the likes of Lizzo and Harry Styles, has constructed a film for Klarna that is inspired by Y2K aesthetics. Bretman Rock also features in the campaign as he is a Klarna ambassador, like Paris. The campaign adapts Paris Hilton’s iconic line of ‘That’s so hot’, to ‘That’s so cool’ when discussing the features of the Klarna app. The chief marketing officer at Klarna, David Sandstrom said “Who better than Paris Hilton, who is known for her style and shopping prowess?’’.
Hilton’s next-gen media company 11:11 Media worked with Klarna’s in-house creative agency. The campaign is promoted on all digital channels as well as Paris Hilton’s social media accounts.
