Mr Men get a Moustache Makeover for Movember

By on Friday, October 18, 2013

It’s almost that time of the year again, when men up and down the country put down their razors fir a month, to battle it out in the comedy moustache growing stakes, all in the name of charadie. This year the talented team behind Movember, the prostate and testicular cancer awareness charity, has gone one step further by teaming up with one of the most brilliant kids’ books in history – Roger Hargreaves’ Mr Men, to create a brand new character – Mr Mo, sporting of course a big fat moustache.

Mos Bros

Exclusively revealed in today’s Metro, Mr Mo is the first new Mr Man for four years and was drawn by Adam Hargreaves, son of series creator Roger, for a new e-book that will be sold to raise cash and raise awareness of the campaign. Joining in the facial fuzz growing action are other Mr Men favourites Mr Tickle, Mr Greedy, My Nosey and Mr Sneeze.

Mr Mo

Movember is a fantastic charity with lots of high profile support, but it can be a really tough job to keep the campaign refreshed year after year. The team has certainly hit gold this year with one of the best collaborations I’ve seen in a long while. Truly inspired.
