McDonald’s is crashing weddings with personalised sauce pots
McDonald’s has turned its sauce pots into a wedding favour, giving couples the chance to personalise its condiments with a bespoke message for their big day.
Called Wedding Flavours, the campaign leans into Gen Z’s shift away from traditional wedding trimmings, swapping sugared almonds for a keepsake that guests are unlikely to leave on the table.

Each pot lid carries space for a personal message, alongside a customisable outer sleeve.

To mark the launch, McDonald’s UK’s is giving 20 couples the chance to win a bespoke set: 150 personalised sauce pots and 150 portions of Fries for their wedding.

The campaign, developed with Red Consultancy, was shot by Henry Redcliffe, the photographer best known for documenting Charli XCX’s tours, marking what McDonald’s describes as a brand first behind the camera.

It follows the fast food chain’s office photocopier delivery campaign earlier this year, and echoes Heinz’s own wedding sauce jacket, as brands increasingly compete for a slot in the day’s smallest, most personal details.
