Dua Lipa hands Google Maps users her own camera roll

Google Maps has turned its travel guide over to pop’s most well-travelled tour guide.

In a partnership with Dua Lipa and her cultural platform Service95, the singer has filled Maps with 12 shared lists and more than 130 of her favourite spots, from late-night tacos in Mexico City to natural wine bars and the bookshops she keeps going back to.

Each pick comes with a photo from Dua’s own camera roll and a personal note on why it matters, so users get her actual recommendations rather than the usual algorithmic top ten.

The lists surface when you search cities including London, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Barcelona, and you can save any spot to build your own Dua-coded itinerary.

For the full pop-star treatment, she has also been given a custom Pegman in Street View, restyled in her image and set to roam her favourite cities through the year.

“You rang, I picked up,” Dua wrote on Instagram, pointing fans to 47 cities ready to explore.

It is a neat fit for Service95, which began life as her recommendations newsletter.
