Nissan’s latest ad campaign hit new heights with an eye-catching stunt in London to celebrate the launch of the new Qashqai.
It’s part of a wider campaign to ‘elevate the urban drive’.
Passers-by can now see a model of the British-built Qashqai attached to the top of Truman Brewery’s 49-metre high chimney – a 200-year old London landmark situated in Brick Lane, Shoreditch.
The fibreglass model is one and half times the size of a normal Qashqai, measures 6.5 metres in length, 2.7 metres in width, and 2.4 metres in height – and it weighs 750kg.
It took the team from TBWA around seven weeks to make and, with the help of two cranes, was hoisted into position this week before being fixed in place.
A spokesperson said: “We’re very proud of this British-built model and wanted to show if off for everyone to see. So, we figured why not park it in a place where it can’t be missed.”
