Fender reopen an iconic London music venue

Guitar giants Fender have reopened London’s iconic Marquee Club for one night only to celebrate the launch of their new Vintera II series. The new range pays homage to Fender’s prominent releases in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, when the Marquee Club was in it’s heyday.

Performing on the evening were punk duo Soft Play (FKA Slaves), innovative new wave siblings Nova Twins, and Brighton noise-mongers Lambrini Girls – all of whom played guitars from the new series. As if that wasn’t enough, Primal Scream bassist Simone Marie treated attendees to a DJ set too.

CMO of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, Evan Jones, said: “We are beyond excited to bring these leading artists together for a special one-night-only event, resurrecting the legendary Marquee Club to introduce the new Vintera II series. As the number of guitar players around the world continues to grow and players continue to embrace technology, musicians of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels still find themselves drawn to the timelessness of the Fender brand
