Deliveroo launch helicopter dining service in London

Deliveroo has launched a helicopter dining experience where Londoners can enjoy their food whilst taking in the views of the city 1000ft up in the air.

The food delivery service is testing the idea this August, where customers will be able to enjoy their favourite cuisines while seeing the panoramic views of London.

Customers will arrive at Battersea helipad in South London where they will order their food, be given a safety briefing and then the food should arrive shortly before take-off.

The helicopter experience will then last 20 minutes, flying past iconic sights such as The Shard and the O2 Arena before returning safely to Battersea. To top it all off, aside from the cost of your meal the experience is completely free!

Charter-A Helicopters have partnered with Deliveroo to deliver the experience, which will be trialled in London with the hope of expanding to Sydney, Hong Kong and Edinburgh over the next few years.
