Carlsberg challenged six strangers to build a pub in five days

Carlsberg brought together six people with no prior building experience and challenged them to build a pub in just five days.

The brewery challenged the strangers to ditch their desks for an adventure to experience the Danish way of living.

Camping out near Tintagel in Cornwall, the group are tasked with building a waterfall-powered pub, from scratch – the project has been captured for a mini documentary series, ‘Build the Danish Way’.

The ‘Carlsberg Cabin’ was created by architect Ben Huggins and it pays tribute to Danish, eco-friendly design.

Liam Newton, vice president of marketing at Carlsberg told inapub: “We wanted to build an off the grid pub that allowed people in the UK to live the Danish Way and escape the busyness of daily life. We want to provide space for quality conversation whilst taking in a view to take your breath away and a crisp, cold pint of Carlsberg Expørt with friends.”

Those who are looking for a remote Carlsberg Cabin can now find it listed on Airbnb.
