Mario Balotelli sports awesome boots decorated with headlines about himself

By on Tuesday, December 17, 2013

AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli really let his feet do the talking during a match against Roma last night, wearing ‘newspaper boots’ which contained real headlines about himself.

No stranger to press coverage, the Italian star has made papers the world over for his antics on and off pitch, be that through interesting goal celebrations or coooking for the first time ever on Italian television.

Included on the footwear is the line “Why Always Me?”, a slogan he made famous after displaying it on his shirt duing a 2011 Manchester derby, among others.

The Nike boots have seen coverage in Metro, the Mail Online, The Mirror and the Huffington Post, amongst others.

Nice way for a footballer to turn the constant onslaught of the paparazzi on its head and see Balotelli embrace the craziness he’s known for!
