Skoda successfully seizing social media

Here’s a lovely article on how Skoda uses social media to engage with journalists – in this case James Baggott, editor of Car Dealer Magazine.

After tweeting that he didn’t have a car for the evening, Skoda provided him with a brand new Octavia as well as some other goodies in the boot.

The journalists vs. PRs debate is a longstanding one, but here’s a great example of how social media is breaking down barriers and making it possible to execute great PR for brands. Read James’ full article here:
