Save the Children subverts Coca-Cola ad with powerful twist

Save the Children has reimagined one of the most iconic Christmas ads to deliver a heartfelt reminder of what really matters this season.
The charity’s 2025 Christmas campaign cleverly mimics Coca-Cola’s legendary red truck ad, complete with snowy landscapes, twinkling lights and a curious child watching from afar.
But as the convoy comes to a stop, it’s revealed the trucks aren’t carrying soft drinks — they’re packed with vital aid for children in need.
As the festive soundtrack cuts, stark text appears: “This Christmas, there’s one delivery that matters more than any.” It’s a powerful pivot that challenges viewers to rethink their seasonal priorities.

Launched alongside new research, the campaign uncovers a striking contrast between parent and child perspectives: while 88% of parents feel pressure to buy more to make Christmas magical, 92% of children admit to receiving gifts they didn’t want or use.
Remarkably, 73% said they would give up a present to help another child.
The global campaign was created by Ace of Hearts and filmed in Georgia with a crew including displaced Ukrainians.
CEO Moazzam Malik says, “We’re asking everyone to play their part so children everywhere can have the right to childhood — not just at Christmas, but every day.”
