Jude Law dodges romcom clichés in Uber Eats’ latest campaign

Uber Eats has added another A-lister to its growing cast of celebrities.

Jude Law is the latest face of the brand’s “When You’ve Done Enough, Uber Eats” platform, joining David and Victoria Beckham, Javier Bardem, and Elton John in the delivery app’s ongoing subversion of fame and typecasting.

In the new hero spot by Mother London, Uber Eats playfully leans into, and then swerves away from, Law’s romcom legacy.

The English actor, known for his era-defining heartthrob roles, is chased through a familiar London backdrop filled with classic ‘meet-cute’ setups: a shared reach for a book in a cosy shop, a clumsy collision with a box-laden stranger, a dog park run-in with flirtation potential.

But this time, Law isn’t biting. He’s done enough.

Instead of engaging in the romantic rituals he’s long embodied on screen, Law shrugs off the tropes and heads home for a far more reliable pleasure: wings, hot sauce, and downtime, courtesy of Uber Eats.

“It was great fun poking fun at myself in this way,” he said. “We’ve all had moments when we have done enough for the day and just want to relax.”

Directed by David Shane, the campaign is rolling out across TV, out-of-home, digital, and social.
