Danny Dyer gets schooled in butler service by The Fresh Prince’s Geoffrey
Danny Dyer has swapped the streets of the East End for silver trays and bow ties in a new video where he gets a crash course in butler service from none other than Joseph Marcell – aka Geoffrey from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Marcell, who spent six years playing Will Smith’s no-nonsense butler, is now putting Dyer through his paces, teaching him everything from formal dress codes to the importance of being available 24/7.
It’s all part of a new campaign from Sky Broadband, promoting their around-the-clock switching support for customers looking to escape bad contracts.
The video follows Dyer as he struggles with the finer points of high-class service, from mastering a bow tie to keeping his composure during afternoon tea.

At one point, he describes his physique as a “windowless shed” while attempting to fit into his butler uniform.

Beyond the comedy, the campaign taps into a real issue.
A study of 2,000 Brits found that 36% of people stick with bad broadband contracts, with 31% saying switching providers is just too much hassle.
