Warburtons is celebrating its 150th anniversary with a cinematic new TV campaign starring Morgan Freeman, adding another heavyweight name to its long-running roll call of A-list talent.
Titled “150 Years in the Baking”, the film charts five generations of family dedication, with Freeman guiding viewers through a century and a half of heritage.
He follows in the footsteps of previous Warburtons stars including Olivia Colman and Robert De Niro, continuing the brand’s tradition of pairing blockbuster storytelling with bakery warmth.
Developed by Joyful & Triumphant and directed by Declan Lowney, the spot blends nostalgic 20th century scenes with present-day scale, culminating in a fleet of Warburtons lorries on the move.
Media is handled by Mindshare, with social by McCann Manchester and PR by Burson.
Launching with a 120-second hero edit and cut downs across TV, VOD, OOH, radio and online, the campaign premieres during The Masked Singer on ITV.
In typical Warburtons fashion, it turns a family milestone into a prime-time spectacle.
