Anya Hindmarch reimagines Boots with retro concept store
Anya Hindmarch is bringing nostalgic flair to Britain’s beloved high street chemist with the launch of a 1970s-inspired concept store in partnership with Boots.
Opening at The Village Hall in London’s Pont Street, the pop-up will showcase a limited-edition collection of leather accessories and everyday toiletries with a joyful design twist.

From cotton buds to wash bags, each item is a playful homage to Boots’ rich heritage. Hindmarch worked closely with the brand’s archive, channelling classic packaging, signage and shop interiors to create a space that blends apothecary elegance with retro charm.

Think arched wood-framed windows, staff in crisp white coats, and a palette lifted straight from the original Boots blue-and-white.

“It’s a bit of a 1970s Boots from my childhood,” said Hindmarch. “These are the things that will pep up your bathroom in January.”
The capsule range includes tongue-in-cheek references to Berocca, Advil, Band-Aid and more, as well as two vintage-inspired wash bags and a new edition of Hindmarch’s Universal Bag.
It’s a warm and witty take on British retail history — with just the right dose of design irreverence.
The store is open until March 8, with the essentials collection heading online at boots.com thereafter.
