The Big Bad Wolf ditches meat for friendship

French grocer Intermarché has upended its long-running tradition of human-led festive tearjerkers, unveiling a wonderfully original Christmas film that trades kitchen-sink realism for a woodland fable.
Created with long-time agency partner Romance, the 2025 spot stars a woodland villain.
The once-fearsome wolf has grown tired of playing the villain and decides to change his diet – and his destiny. Abandoning carnivorous clichés, he embraces salad-bar experimentation in the hope of finally making friends.
Romance enlisted Divine to capture the film’s live-action bookends, while WIZZ and directing collective Illogic handled the 3D animation that forms the film’s core – scored with Claude François’s classic tune Le mal-aimé.
