ARGOS

Simon Bird joins Argos’s Christmas campaign as Connie & Trevor’s latest target, in a humorous film showing there’s more to the store than toys. Directed by David Kerr and created by T&P, the spot follows Bird’s last-minute shopper being schooled on Argos’s premium gifts, tech and homeware

ASDA

Asda’s 2025 Christmas campaign stars The Grinch, showing even the biggest festive cynic can’t resist “That’s Asda Price.” Created by Lucky Generals and directed by Dexter Fletcher, the 90-second ad turns the green grouch into a Christmas convert — wowed by low prices, festive food and family cheer.

BARBOUR

Barbour’s ad reunites Wallace and Gromit in a charming Aardman animation. The 90-second film sees Gromit outshone by Wallace’s “Gift-O-Matic” invention — until both exchange the same present: matching tartan Barbour scarves. Ending with the line “Barbour. We’ve got Christmas covered,” it’s a witty, warm nod to British craftsmanship and festive tradition.

BOOTS

Gift Happily Ever After reimagines a fairytale world for modern shoppers. Starring Puss on a magical quest to find perfect beauty gifts for his friends before the Snow Queen’s Ball, the enchanting film celebrates meaningful gifting and the joy of finding the ideal present.

BURBERRY

Burberry’s 2025 Christmas ad, ’Twas the Knight Before…, stars Jennifer Saunders hosting a festive gathering in a grand London townhouse. Joined by Naomi Campbell, Ncuti Gatwa, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Son Heung-min, the all-star cast celebrates friendship, fashion and British elegance in true Burberry style.

DEBENHAMS

Debenhams Delivered, turns a sleepy street into a full-blown festive parade led by Olivia Attwood, Peter Crouch and Judi Love. The joyful film celebrates effortless shopping, sparkle and community spirit — showing that with Debenhams, the magic of Christmas really can arrive at your doorstep.

JOHN LEWIS

The retailer has dropped a two-minute tear-jerker that leans into 90s nostalgia, emotional storytelling, and a new retail strategy built around music. This year’s message from the high street retailer is “If you can’t find the words, find the gift.” Created by Saatchi & Saatchi, the spot revives the club classic “Where Love Lives” by Alison Limerick.

LEGO

Is It Play You’re Looking For?, created by Our LEGO Agency, follows 12-year-old Eddie as he rediscovers the joy of play. When his sister builds with LEGO bricks, last year’s Cataclaws and a flurry of minifigures spring to life — reminding families how creativity connects them.

LIDL

Lidl’s 2025 Christmas ad, created by Accenture Song, asks: “Why do we love Christmas so much?” Narrated by a young girl and set to Wouldn’t It Be Nice by The Beach Boys, the heartwarming film celebrates kindness, connection and generosity — ending with a call to donate to Lidl’s annual toy bank.

M&S Food

M&S Food’s 2025 Christmas ad sees Dawn French return as the fairy, joined by chef Tom Kerridge in a playful 90-second film titled Traffic Jamming. Singing Driving Home for Christmas, French turns a gridlocked road into a festive feast inside an M&S truck — celebrating joyful indulgence and signature seasonal treats.

MATALAN

It’s Showtime, created with McCann Manchester, transforms festive prep into a theatrical celebration. Showcasing homeware, fashion and family moments, the film spotlights the excitement of creating a “Christmas masterpiece.”

MORISSONS

Morrisons’ celebrate the people behind the magic, showcasing farmers, bakers and colleagues preparing all year round for the festive season. Directed by Aaron Stoller through Biscuit Filmworks, the heartwarming 90-second film ends with the line: “Morrisons, making more of Christmas.”

SAINSBURY’S

Sainsbury’s 2025 Christmas ad stars the BFG, who joins colleague Annie to stop a mischievous Greedy Giant from stealing everyone’s festive feast. Directed by Sam Brown and created by New Commercial Arts and producer Rogue Films, the charming 90-second film ends with the BFG joining Annie’s family for Christmas dinner — a true tale of sharing.

SPORTS DIRECT

Just Getting Started, celebrates the spirit of sport with a star-studded cast including Linford Christie, Lauren James, Conor Benn, Skye Nicolson and the iconic Sports Direct Nan. The energetic film inspires everyone to take their first step — proving the festive season is where new sporting traditions begin.
