Domino’s taps into 80s nostalgia with limited-edition merch drop

Domino’s is celebrating 40 years in the UK with a throwback merch collection that channels the brand’s mid-80s delivery roots.

The pizza chain has teamed up with vintage lifestyle brand Unified Goods for the Hot Since ‘85 capsule, a mix of rare finds and new designs inspired by Domino’s original uniforms.

The collection nods directly to the company’s early style playbook, when red polos with white stripes and light blue collars were standard issue for drivers.

Fans can also spot the range in Domino’s new throwback film, styled around 80s video games and cult movies, underscoring the brand’s anniversary push.

“This year is a significant milestone for us, marking 40 years since Domino’s powered up its first oven in the UK in 1985,” said Melanie Howe, Domino’s chief nostalgia officer. “So, it felt right to honour being ‘hot since ‘85’ with a piping hot drop that’s bold, fun, and perfectly us.”

Domino’s opened its first UK store in Luton in 1985, reaching 100 locations by 1995. Today, it operates more than 1,300 outlets across the UK and Ireland.

The Hot Since ‘85 range is available now via unifiedgoods.com until October 9.
