Uber Eats pops up with XL ‘bag restaurant’

Uber Eats has given Britain’s lunch hour staple a luxury upgrade, dispensing gourmet meal deals from a 10-foot-tall delivery bag in central London.
Dubbed the Sandwich Studio, the pop-up is the latest activation under Uber Eats’ “When You’ve Done Enough” platform, a campaign celebrating the everyday wins that deserve a proper reward – like a £3 lobster sandwich.
The brand teamed up with Michelin-acclaimed chefs Jack Croft and Will Murray to craft a limited-edition menu that includes dishes like “Coronation Lobster,” “Rotisserie Chicken & Ssamjang,” and a nostalgic “Cheese & Honion.”

All proceeds from the London, Manchester and Liverpool runs go to food redistribution charity City Harvest.

Will Hooker, head of marketing at Uber Eats UK, said: “With When You’ve Done Enough, we’re recognising the everyday little wins that warrant taking a moment of downtime in celebration. The Sandwich Studio brings that to life.”
Will Murray adds: “The meal deal is a British classic. We’re not replacing it—we’re remixing it.”
The Sandwich Studio is live in London’s Potters Field today, with Manchester and Liverpool getting in on the action via Uber Eats delivery on 17 and 18 July.
