Hiscox wine-stained letters highlight insurance risks

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a direct mail that really lands, but Hiscox’s latest letter hits the mark.
Recipients found their letters ostensibly drenched in red wine stains and smudged text, driving home the idea that “even something as simple as a dropped Bordeaux could end up being more costly than you imagine.”
The letter was shared by Ruth Shearn on LinkedIn.
The campaign leans into a small domestic mishap to underline how unexpected accidents can spiral financially without proper cover.
