What if you could borrow sports gear, for free … right in the park?

Decathlon are rolling out sports lockers in outdoor spaces across the Czech Republic.

The sports brand have joined forces with the startup YourLOX®️ to make sport accessible to even more people.

The pilot project of smart lockers – so-called LOXs – are where you can rent sports equipment free of charge directly at outdoor sports grounds and parks.

Kit on offer includes footballs, rounders bats and Badminton

“Thanks to the LOXs located mainly next to the playgrounds, nothing will stand in the way of athletes,” says our Customer Experience Leader Jan Černý. “This project is also another step towards our long-term strategy in the field of sustainability and circular economy. We are proud to support equipment sharing and reduce waste. Sometimes you just need to borrow equipment – less is more!”
