Ballsy reminder floats through Hong Kong’s harbour

Men’s wellbeing brand Noah, has launched a ballsy new campaign in Hong Kong.

The centrepiece? A pair of giant inflatable balls being towed through Victoria Harbour by a barge, bearing the message “Men’s health is a big deal.”

While the viral clip looks like a tourist’s spontaneous capture, the visuals were actually created with VFX.

Conceived by creative agency BBH Singapore, the campaign leverages humour to spotlight a serious issue: many men in Hong Kong don’t talk about their health, especially when it comes to sexual wellbeing.

Launched during Men’s Health Month, the campaign aims to break the silence.

According to Noah, 60% of men in the city avoid discussing sexual health due to embarrassment. By starting with a witty visual, the brand hopes to reduce stigma and encourage more open conversations.

Gaurav Gursahani, director of marketing at Noah, said, “We built Noah because stigma was louder than solutions when it came to men’s health. No man should feel embarrassed to take care of his health. But in reality, most do. That’s why we partnered with BBH Singapore to develop a campaign that doesn’t whisper about men’s health, it shouts.”

Sascha Kuntze, chief creative officer, BBH Singapore, said, “Sometimes, to get everyone’s attention about a topic everyone shies away from, all you need is…well you can see it in the stunt.”
