Decathlon France zooms in on sport
By James Herring on Wednesday, May 14, 2025
Decathlon France has launched a fresh and visually striking campaign that flips the script on traditional sports advertising.
Instead of focusing on dramatic action shots or elite athletes, the brand zeroed in on the overlooked details like the curve of a ball or the stitching on a sneaker.
The idea is to show how even these small elements are part of a bigger journey.
They’re not just design features they’re part of the fabric of sport.
By zooming in on these details, Decathlon reminds viewers that all sporting journeys, owe a debt to the craft of kit and apparel.
The campaign ties it all back to Decathlon, reinforcing the brand’s role in helping people get started with sport – one small step, or stitch, at a time.
