Aldi are showcasing their wooden toy castle as a fashion dupe alternative to Jaden Smith’s Grammy sensation headpiece.
The supermarket have even named the look ‘Castle-Core’.
Jaden Smith made waves at the Grammys with his bold ABODI Wearable Vampire Castle Headpiece, a statement piece retailing for a hefty €4,500.

But UK supermarket Aldi, with creative agency Taylor Herring, has stepped in to prove that you don’t need a designer budget to make a dramatic entrance.

Aldi has recreated Smith’s viral look using their £24.99 Wooden Princess Castle from the popular Specialbuys range, bringing a dose of red carpet flair to the middle aisle.

Smith’s castle-inspired headpiece quickly became a talking point on social media, with reactions ranging from admiration to playful critique:
🗣️ “Elementary school kids showing off their diorama projects.”
🗣️ “Did he lose a bet?”
🗣️ “Great to see Jaden Smith has gone as The Curse at Alton Manor.”

Aldi has since shared their own version of the look on social media, proving once again that their Specialbuys can be just as unexpected as high fashion.
Their wooden toy range spanning castles, play kitchens, and puzzles remains a customer favourite, selling out fast whenever it lands in stores.

Now, with a touch of Grammy inspiration, it might just become the next must-have fashion statement.
A spokesperson from Aldi said: “Our middle aisle is once again proving itself as the ultimate trend-spotting destination. At Aldi, we believe everyone deserves their showstopper moment. Our wooden castle is both a statement piece and a practical toy once the paparazzi have gone home.”
