Gordon Ramsay’s issues public apology

Gordon Ramsay, the celebrity chef known for his fiery outbursts, has surprised fans with a public apology to those he’s famously insulted over the years.

In particular, he’s offered a special shoutout to everyone he’s ever called a “donkey”

The unexpected apology comes as part of a collaboration with Hay Day, the popular farming mobile game by Supercell.

In a new ad, created by Uncommon Stockholm, Ramsay shares how the calming experience of tending to a virtual farm has helped him find what he describes as “inner peace.”

Ramsay says, “I used to feel so angry… To all of you, honestly, I’m so sorry.”

He credits the tranquil farming simulator with helping him adopt a more relaxed outlook.

As part of the collaboration, Ramsay has even been turned into a playable character within Hay Day for a limited time, giving players the chance to farm alongside the chef himself.

Ramsay said: “I’m known for many things, but being zen is not one of them. What people don’t know is thanks to Hay Day I’ve found a new sense of calm from harvesting crops and feeding livestock. People will be shocked to see me as a character in such a tranquil game, but that’s exactly the point — Hay Day shows that anyone, no matter who they are, can find a bit of harmony in the chaos”

Maya Hofree, Hay Day General Manager, said: “We’ve always known that Hay Day is a place of relaxation and calm, even for one of the most fiery individuals in entertainment! Meanwhile, we can’t wait for players to meet virtual Gordon Ramsay in our game and have fun building up their own farming utopia.”
