Feeling nostalgic? PlayStation are releasing a limited edition collection to celebrate their 30th anniversary

PlayStation are releasing a special 30th anniversary limited edition collection inspired by the iconic PS1.

Sony have announced they will be releasing a collection of limited edition PlayStation 5 consoles and accessories to celebrate 30 years of the PlayStation.

The collection is of course inspired by the legendary grey PlayStation 1 design, with the old-school four colour logo design, and each item is engraved with a number representing the day and month the first PlayStation console launched.

The 30th anniversary limited edition collection includes:

• PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle
• PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle
• PlayStation Portal Remote Player – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition
• DualSense Edge Wireless Controller – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition
• DualSense Wireless Controller – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition

Although the prices have not been shared, with a limited number available – only 12,300 units of the PS5 Pro – it’s expected that getting your hands on these will be difficult.

The exciting collection will be available for pre-order on 26th September from the PlayStation Direct online store, and officially released on 10th October everywhere else.
