Rick is a Dad of four. Yes four.

He founded Smoking Gun PR with wife Vanessa in 2010 and officially is Managing Director but also wears many other hats.

This follows previous spells as MD at Brazen PR and in full-service agencies.

Rick relishes advising some of the biggest international consumer brands on integrated marcomms campaigns. His varied career has seen him achieve front page stories on titles as diverse as The Guardian and the Daily Star. He'll love telling you stories over a beer which will probably include pitching to Miss Costa Rica in a Miami swimming pool and playing beach football in Dubai with football legends and a World Cup Winner including Eric Cantona, Leonardo and Sir Bobby Robson.

He's committed to continuous professional development and enjoys helping staff grow as much as seeing clients in the media.

He's a Burnley fan, but mostly 'watches' matches via his phone these days though!
