Samsung imagines a lifetime of fatherhood before it begins

Samsung has launched Life’s Little Moments, a new TV and brand campaign for the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8 that compresses an imagined lifetime of parenthood into one expectant father’s journey to hospital.

Created by Taylor Herring and produced by St Mark’s Studios, the film follows the father as he records an emotional voice note to his own dad on the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.

As he speaks, the story jumps forward through the life he imagines with his daughter, from childhood discoveries and first days at school to teenage arguments and eventually helping her move into a home of her own.

Rather than making the foldable device the centre of the action, Samsung positions it as the tool through which an emotionally charged moment is captured and shared.

The work continues Samsung’s ‘Unmissable Moments’ platform, which previously explored family memories through Martin Kemp’s personal archive.

It also follows Samsung’s Ashley Walters film, which used night-time stories to demonstrate the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s camera technology.

The approach reflects a wider creative move towards placing technology inside stories about human life rather than making specifications the story itself, something also visible in Disney’s lifetime storytelling campaign earlier this year.

Annika Bizon, Mobile Experience VP of Product and Marketing at Samsung UK and Ireland, said: “With this campaign, we wanted to tell an emotional brand story rooted in a universal human experience, becoming a parent for the first time.”

The TV spot began airing on 10 August and is set to run for up to two weeks.
