Nike boards the Alps with the All Conditions Express

Nike has unveiled an all-orange, fully branded train at the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics to relaunch its All Conditions Gear line in grand style.
Dubbed the All Conditions Express, the activation saw the sportswear giant repurpose an Italian commuter train to shuttle guests from central Milan to the Alps, transforming the journey into a rolling manifesto for ACG.

Designed in-house, the train is drenched in the line’s signature burnt orange, with the triangular ACG logo stamped on almost every surface and notably absent of the Nike Swoosh.

Inside, carriages double as alpine basecamp.

Custom seating in orange upholstery sits alongside kit rooms for climbing and running, while a cafe inspired by classic mountain refuges acts as the social hub, complete with branded merchandise and coffee counter.

At the rear, a recovery space circles a log-burning stove, with daybeds and hanging chairs creating a softer landing post-adventure.

“With the outdoors in particular, it’s so serious,” said chief design officer Martin Lotti speaking to Dezeen. “
We wanted to come in with an attitude that solves problems at the highest level.”

It is brand world building at full throttle, turning a commuter train into a moving billboard and mobile store for a cult favourite reboot.
