Spotify hits the streets with bold shoutouts to UK artists

Spotify has taken to the streets with four bold, bespoke out-of-home activations, celebrating some of the UK’s most streamed and talked-about artists.

Created by St Marks Studios in close partnership with Spotify, and supported by Publicis Media and OneVibe, the series of executions plays out across London and Manchester with a mix of culture, craft and fandom.

In Manchester’s Northern Quarter, a hand-painted mural honours hometown legends Oasis alongside a custom-built giant tambourine.

Meanwhile, in London, a phone box has been transformed with a full wrap in PinkPantheress’ trademark tartan – a distinctive nod to the singer’s style.

A standout moment in the series is a glittering, bling-encrusted billboard for Central Cee, celebrating the rapper’s milestone of 150 million streams.

And fans of Plastic Box were treated to a nostalgic twist as the iconic Jade scene from the viral video was recreated in the final activation.

The former Little Mix star put on a performance in the box as it was uncovered on London’s Southbank.

“Each piece was designed to connect Spotify fans with their favourite artists in fun, expressive ways,” said the team at St Marks Studios.

The campaign blends street-level spectacle with cultural relevance – putting Spotify’s love for local music firmly in the spotlight.

The UK-only film (created by curly media) salutes the artists, fans and cultural flashpoints that shaped 2025, guided by director KC Locke’s unmistakable eye.

It pulls together a heavyweight cast of the year’s standout UK talent — Central Cee, PinkPantheress, Lewis Capaldi, JADE, Nemzzz, Skye Newman, Kingfishr, Sammy Virji and Sasha Keable — with surprise appearances from Louis Theroux, Bus Aunty, Al Nash and Grime Gran.
