Birds Eye has revealed the secret behind the missing holes in their potato waffles with a new product: Potato Waffholes. These bite-sized, crispy snacks are made from the ‘lost’ waffle holes, offering a fun twist on the classic. This playful launch finally answers the question no one was asking: what happens to the leftover bits of spuds when waffles are made?

Subwhey shakes up the fitness scene, turning its subs into protein shakes

Subway has released a range of protein shakes inspired by some of the brand’s most iconic and protein-packed Footlong Subs! The exclusive ‘Subwhey’ range includes a blended Meatball Marinara Sub, Big Breakwich Sub and the Classic B.M.T, packed with 40-59g of protein, and of course a generous portion of fresh salad per shake.

Chicken shop queen, Amelia Dimoldenberg, has revealed her own Rhode-style phone case, made to perfectly hold a single chicken nugget! Something tells me my pre-order won’t actually go through though…

Doms Proteinon – Protein Works answer to alcohol-free champagne 

Protein Works has launched Doms Proteinon, a boozeless, protein-packed version of Dom Pérignon champagne. Aimed at athletes, it taps into rising searches for alcohol-free champagne and a surprising 580% surge in “protein champagne.” Guess some people really will be disappointed this luxurious shake is an April Fools…

Aldi celebrates pure Scottish water

It’s official…Aldi stores across Scotland have launched “Taps Aff,” a 100% natural alcohol alternative made from beloved Scottish tap water. The refreshing drink celebrates Scotland’s iconic pure tap water, one of the things Scots are proud of! The comical launch ties in well with the rise in popularity of low/no-alcohol beverages

Asda bans shoppers with no back pockets

Asda announces the introduction of a Rear Pocket Dress Code, forcing shoppers to sport visible back pockets for entry. No pocket? Stick-on ones are handed out at the door to keep things “tap-friendly.” With the stick-on pockets able to be applied elsewhere – as long as it’s visible to staff while you are shopping. All Asda staff have been fully trained in the Pocket Tap Policy and ready to assist, making sure every shopper can tap with ease.
