De’Longhi turns its coffee machines into tiny cafés in new global push
De’Longhi has unveiled a new global campaign with LOLA Madrid that turns its bean-to-cup machines into miniature coffee shops, using handcrafted façades inspired by Milan, Tokyo, Paris, Copenhagen and Berlin.
Called The World’s Smallest Coffee Shop, the platform tackles a familiar contradiction in coffee culture.
While most coffee is now consumed at home, many people still think the best cup comes from a café.
Rather than argue the point, De’Longhi has chosen to stage it – quite literally.
The machines have been transformed into detailed café fronts by Simon Weisse, the model maker known for his work on The Grand Budapest Hotel and Asteroid City.
Built in his Berlin studio over hundreds of hours using real materials and traditional techniques, each miniature has also been engineered to actually make coffee.

The work showcases models including Rivelia, Magnifica Evo Next, Eletta Ultra, Eletta Explore and Primadonna Aromatic, positioning them as complete at-home coffee systems rather than simple appliances.
The campaign begins with an influencer-led reveal in Berlin before expanding globally across retail, digital, social and experiential channels.
It will culminate in a showcase at Milan Design Week, giving De’Longhi a design-world stage for a category message rooted in product performance.
