Red Bull turned the sky into a scoreboard as Türkiye’s Fehmi Atalar won the first-ever Red Bull Tetris World Final, with every move he made lit up by a fleet of 2,800 drones over the Dubai Frame.
In a global first for gaming and tech, the five-minute Grand Final was played live in the sky, with Tetriminos displayed in real time by 1,400 drones per player.

Atalar, already top-seeded, delivered a flawless performance to beat Peru’s Leo Solórzano with a final score of 168,566.

The spectacle was the climax of a global tournament that saw more than 7 million mobile qualifiers from 60 countries.
With the skyline as its screen and the classic game reimagined with speed boosts and gravity shifts, the event pushed competitive gaming into new territory.

“I managed to play like a machine,” said Atalar. “This event was one of a kind.”
The World Final transformed Dubai’s skyline into an arena – marking a milestone for gaming, drone tech and brand storytelling.
