Seagulls are the enemy and Britain’s creatives have had enough

Just in time for peak cone-and-chips season, creatives are warning the UK public about a long-standing enemy: seagulls.

We partnered with One Minute Briefs, the creative community known for its lightning-fast take on briefs, the project takes on the feathered chaos agents who have turned every seafront snack into a high-stakes gamble.

The campaign called on creatives to whip up fun, visual and unmistakably British warnings about gull attacks.

The entries leaned all the way in: think seaside-style signage, social-friendly memes, and OOH executions that could sit just as well next to a beach hut as they would on a bus stop in Brighton.

The results are in, with the winning creative – this Seagull insurance policy from Si Lodge, Founder at Ubuntu & Studio Nine.
