Pixar animates kids’ alien imaginations

Disney Pixar is turning kids’ alien dreams into a visual reality ahead of their new film, “Elio.”
In a move as cosmic as its subject, Pixar artists tapped into the wild imaginations of 1,000 British kids aged 6 to 11, crafting an alien straight from their minds: one head, slimy green skin, and a sinister mouthful of sharp teeth.
Turns out, space chatter is a family affair; with 82% of parents reporting that their kids are fascinated by the cosmos. These little visionaries kept it classic, with the aliens mirroring human size but upping the ante with long limbs, big eyes, and ears fit for a space-bound elf.
All this is set against the backdrop of “Elio,” Pixar’s latest film adventure about a young space fan who gets beamed up into an interplanetary meeting of minds.
“With the movie all about discovery, both the with main character’s self and of other worlds, it’s great to also find space is still as interesting as ever to kids.”
Clearly, the future of alien lore is in good hands.
