Fender kicked off the launch of its new Player II Modified series with an unforgettable event at The Bike Shed in Shoreditch, London.
The exclusive Fender Mod Shop transformed the venue into a hands-on guitar workshop, where lucky fans brought their instruments in for free tune-ups from expert techs who’ve worked with artists like Last Dinner Party, Sex Pistols, Bloc Party, Kate Nash, Razorlight, Dua Lipa, and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.
Fans got their guitars tuned up with everything from new strings and electronics checks to hardware replacements and action adjustments. But it wasn’t just about the tech – attendees were treated to an awesome live performance from Mercury Prize-winning indie band English Teacher, who showed off the new Player II Modified guitars in action, followed by a DJ set from Sports Team.
The event was just one part of a global campaign that’s bringing the Player II Modified series to guitarists everywhere, with similar events happening around the world. Fender’s commitment to creativity and community was clear, offering musicians a chance to experience the brand in a truly personal way.
Fender EVP of Product, Justin Norvell, summed it up, “These new models give players that custom feel, with the most popular modifications built in, so they can get the sound they want without the hassle.”
