The Ordinary shake up NYC’s egg shortage with cracking idea

Beauty brand The Ordinary have teamed up with MSCHF to tackle NYC’s egg shortage head-on.

Bird flu outbreaks have wiped out millions of hens in the US, leading to an acute egg shortage.

On social media, thousands of people have complained about supermarket egg shelves sitting empty and the price of eggs has also shot up as a result.

Last weekend they offered a dozen eggs for just $3.37. No fancy gimmicks, just good old-fashioned eggs…. for an ordinary price!

The brand announced the news via Instagram: “We heard NYC needed eggs. This weekend, you can get 12 ordinarily priced eggs at our stores for $3.37—no frills, just eggs. While supplies last.”

MSCHF’s involvement brings its signature blend of avant-garde disruption, blurring the lines between commerce and creativity – highlighting the power of unconventional partnerships.

Egg-cellent work!
